Amos Luka
Amos Luka was born and bred in Northern Nigeria. His under graduate in Theology was at Jos ECWA Theological Seminary. Amos was a local church pastor and teacher of a seminary’s extension center in Zaria, Kaduna State.
Amos moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to attend Southern Seminary for further theological training. He has a Master of Divinity and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in World Religions. Amos is a staff of the Jenkins Center for the Christian Understanding of Islam at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He encounters with Muslims in a predominantly Muslim context kindled Amos’ passion for ministering to Muslims. He desires to train pastors, church leaders, and missionaries to help churches in Africa have a Christian understanding of Islam and tools for engaging Muslims effectively with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Amos Luka has joined Interfaith League Against Poverty (I-LAP-US) as a volunteer Missions Coordinator. In this role, he will collaborate with churches across the United States and internationally, organizing training workshops on Missions, Discipleship, Church Discipline, Transparency, Christian Ethics, the History of Islam, and other faiths. His work will help equip churches and believers with the knowledge and tools needed to strengthen their faith and outreach efforts.

Jason Wasti

Jason Wasti is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He is passionate about strengthening Christians in their faith and equipping them to serve others. He has joined Interfaith League Against Poverty (I-LAP-US) as a volunteer Field/Media Coordinator, where he works with youth, students, and diverse faith communities in Louisville, KY. In this role, he facilitates meaningful worldview conversations by engaging people of different faiths through sports, exposure trips to various faith centers and places of worship, providing inclusive learning spaces. His efforts contribute to fostering interfaith harmony, community integration, and educational engagement.
