Mission

Interfaith League Against Poverty – US (I-LAP-US) is a non-profit organization dedicated to poverty alleviation, sustainable development, interfaith dialogue, and the promotion of human dignity. The organization works through humanitarian assistance, community development initiatives, education, and advocacy for fundamental human rights, including freedom of religion or belief.

Vision

We envision a world where people of all faiths and backgrounds coexist peacefully, communities are empowered to overcome poverty, and all individuals have access to opportunities, education, and fundamental rights.

Introduction

I-LAP-US is a United States–based nonprofit, non-denominational Christian organization dedicated to advancing social cohesion, interfaith understanding, and inclusive community development. The organization works to foster peaceful coexistence by promoting dialogue, mutual respect, and cooperation among individuals and communities across diverse religious, cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds.

Objectives

a.      Promote interfaith dialogue and mutual understanding among diverse communities.

b.     Support sustainable development initiatives to reduce poverty and improve livelihoods.

c.      Expand access to education and leadership training programs.

d.     Advocate for human rights and fundamental freedoms in line with international standards

e.      Provide platforms for collaboration among civil society, faith-based groups, and communities.

f.      Respond to humanitarian needs and support marginalized populations.
