Humanitarian Assistance

Interfaith League Against Poverty responds swiftly and effectively to natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and other crises, providing both immediate relief and long-term recovery support to affected communities. Our teams work closely with local leaders, community members, and authorities to identify the most vulnerable families, including displaced persons, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, ensuring timely and fair assistance.

In the immediate phase, we distribute essential relief items such as food, clean water, clothing, bedding, medical supplies, and hygiene kits. We also establish tent villages that offer safe shelter, sanitation facilities, and cooked meals for families in emergency conditions. Alongside physical aid, we set up Trauma Healing Centers to provide counseling and emotional care for those struggling with loss and distress, with special attention to women and children.

In the recovery phase, we support the reconstruction of earthquake- and flood-resistant homes to help communities rebuild safely and sustainably. Throughout all interventions, we aim to restore dignity, hope, and stability—addressing both physical and emotional needs as communities begin to rebuild their lives.
