Interfaith League Against Poverty believes that constructive engagement among people of different faiths is vital for overcoming mistrust, hostility, extremism, and the false narratives that create division within society. Through participation in the International Religious Freedom Roundtable, I-LAP encourages mutual understanding, social harmony, and greater respect for human dignity and fundamental freedoms.
I-LAP supports efforts that encourage legislative reforms, community awareness, and peaceful advocacy aimed at safeguarding equal rights for all citizens. It also emphasizes that protecting the religious freedom of minorities does not weaken a nation’s identity or stability; rather, it strengthens justice, social harmony, and mutual respect.
