I-LAP regularly conducts Religious Literacy Training programs as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening understanding, confidence, and meaningful engagement within society.
Recognizing the challenges Christians often face in interfaith discussions and apologetics, a training, “Introduction to the Bible for Pastors and Laypersons”, was specifically designed for Christians in Pakistan in collaboration with National Baptist Church of Pakistan.
The training program was conducted virtually, bringing together the instructor, translator, organizers, and participants from different parts of the world in a coordinated and interactive learning environment. Several participants joined the training sessions from other parts of Pakistan. Despite geographical distances, the arrangement created a classroom atmosphere that encouraged participation, discussion, and spiritual learning. The training aimed to deepen biblical understanding and equip believers with greater confidence rooted in Scripture. For many laypersons, it was their first opportunity to study the Old Testament in depth and understand the broader narrative of Scripture.
Beyond academic study, the training encouraged spiritual growth, unity, wisdom, and respectful engagement with others. Through such continuing Religious Literacy Training initiatives, I-LAP seeks to strengthen communities through knowledge, understanding, and thoughtful dialogue grounded in faith and mutual respect.
