Promoting International Religious Freedom through Interfaith Dialogues

I-LAP-US strongly believes that the IRF Roundtable can play a pivotal role in addressing deeply rooted mindsets, prejudices, and misconceptions while combating religious intolerance, extremism, and hatred. By fostering meaningful dialogue, the Roundtable seeks to put an end to religious persecution the world over.

At this critical juncture, when innocent Christians, Ahmadis, Shia Muslims, Hindus, and other religious minorities face relentless persecution under the guise of religion, it is imperative for all advocates of religious freedom to unite. Together, we must support those who courageously step forward to raise their voices against the severe hostility perpetuated by individuals in positions of power.

The IRF Roundtable serves as a platform to counter increasing restrictions on religious freedom by uniting diverse communities, faiths, ethnicities, and cultures. It provides a safe space for airing grievances and exploring collaborative advocacy and lobbying efforts to promote fundamental rights and religious freedom. The Roundtable’s mission is to foster dialogue and action toward legislative and societal changes, ensuring equal rights and protection for all.

I-LAP-US is committed to the following objectives:

  1. Advocating and lobbying policymakers for legislative reforms to uphold and expand religious freedom.
  2. Mobilizing communities to support and embrace religious freedom as a cornerstone for peaceful coexistence.

Through the platform of IRF Roundtable,I-LAP-US seeks to reassure majority communities in every country that advocating for the religious freedom of minorities does not undermine the nation’s sovereignty or its ideological foundations. Instead, it strengthens their standing by ensuring equal rights for all. Members of the majority community are assured that their rights and religious beliefs will remain secure and unchallenged.

By creating pathways for dialogue, advocacy, and understanding, I-LAP-US aims to cultivate a society where religious tolerance, justice, and mutual respect thrive, enabling peaceful coexistence among all communities.
